The N.G.I.S is a co-educational English medium school. We have aspired to use textbooks and other materials prescribed by the board of Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. At the class X stage, students will be prepared for the All-India C.B.S.E. Examination with the subjects like English, Hindi, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science etc. In class XII, students will sit for Senior School Certificate Examinations conducted by the Board. At this level, English is compulsory and optional subjects may be selected from among the following provided that they fall into a Science or Commerce or an Arts group. The studies are conceptual where students are not burdened with examinations; their assessment is judged on the basis of overall performance to make them excel in every field. The medium of instruction and communication is English throughout the school.

In Pre-primary section Montessori system in adopted to make learning a pleasing and delightful exercise. The School follows the curriculum as per the CBSE norms and culture. The school authority always encourages the students of the school to communicate in English which will help one and all to furnish their own communication in English.
